Jump Rope for Heart Recognition Awards
Dept of Health and Human Services
Each year the National AAHPERD office selects two JRFH coordinators
to win the prestigious Outstanding Coordinator of the Year Award. These
individuals are given an all expense paid trip (up to $1000) to the
AAHPERD National Convention where they are honored in front of their
peers for their dedication and commitment to the JRFH program.

the personal qualities, high ideals, and professional ethics for which
Frances A. Mays was known, admired, respected and loved.

The award will be given each year to a graduate student in health, physical
education, recreation, or dance.
Outstanding
Major Award Form
Each College and University may identify one
student in each of the following areas of Health
Education
Physical Education, Dance Education, Recreation, Exercise Science, Sports
Management, and Other Concentration/Program to receive
an award.

Women Student Athlete Nomination Form (Individual and Team Sport)
The award is presented each year to a college or university woman student
athlete in an individual sport and Team Sport.
