Underage Drinking Prevention Education Project

Working Together to Prevent Underage Drinking

Virginia Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (VAHPERD launched this site in 2015 to provide resources to prevent underage drinking and impaired driving to youth, families, educators, and other community stakeholders across the Commonwealth of Virginia. VAHPERD believes that the good choices that children, adolescents and their families make through their school age years will enable them to thrive long into adulthood.

VAHPERD acknowledges the funding and support of the Virginia Departments of EducationMotor Vehicles, and Behavioral Health, the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police, and MADD Virginia. Our activities are informed by NHTSANIAAA, and SAMHSA.
